Chelford Village Preschool We are a small, friendly pre-school that was established in 1978 and are run by a committee of parents and carers. We provide a safe, secure and stimulating environment to enhance the development and education of your child. We ensure individual care and attention is given by personal keyworkers and a high ratio of adults to children. We have a framework to ensure equal opportunities and inclusion for all families. Our staff have obtained, or are studying for relevant NVQ level qualifications and First Aid. The local village hall is the venue, situated roughly half-way between Chelford roundabout and the railway bridge just outside the village. Term dates run from early September through to mid-July. A typical day would start with registration, followed by a free play session where the children take part in such things as painting, role-play, dressing up, jigsaws etc. This will be followed by a story, a snack break and to end the morning a singing session and the handing out of treasures. Our aim is to provide your child with a fun filled, stimulating morning, while doing our best to further their education.
