F Harding's was established in 1949 by Frank Harding who with the aid of a single employee and one machine started winding silk for the parachute industry from a rented property in Macclesfield. Over the years the company has gone from strength to strength, resulting in 2004 the company acquiring a new site that increased its facilities from 55,000sq.ft to 185,000sq.ft of production and warehousing space located in 23 acres of beautiful Cheshire countryside in Langley, just outside Macclesfield.
